un-brace yourself

A free 30-minute class for the jaw, neck, and shoulders that refuse to switch off

The Laptop Is Closed. The House Is Quiet. You Are Exhausted - And Your Body Is Still Preparing For Something.

Your jaw is clenched.

Your shoulders are somewhere near your ears.

Your neck feels tight, your breath is smaller, and “just relax and breathe” is the least helpful instruction anyone could give you.

You have already done a lot to support your health. You have taken the supplements, followed the protocols, learned about nervous-system regulation, and researched your body until you can explain what is happening better than most people around you.

And still, when the day is over, your body has not received the message.

You do not need another explanation to save to your phone.

You need 30 minutes to experience a different way of meeting what is happening in your body.

I created Un-Brace Yourself as a free online class for exactly that.

You are not failing at relaxation

Your Body Has Learned How To Stay Ready.

It tightens around the jaw. It lifts the shoulders. It holds the neck. It keeps listening for the next email, request, decision, interruption, or thing that needs your attention.

That bracing can make sense in the middle of a demanding moment.

The frustrating part is lying in bed hours later, completely worn out, while your body still behaves as though something is about to happen.

Then “just relax and breathe” becomes another task. Another instruction. Another thing to get right.

I do not want to give you another performance to perfect.

In Un-Brace Yourself, I give you space to notice what your body is doing and explore a practical, respectful way to work with it to let it know it is safe to stand down and shift into rest and digest.

You already know how to think and act about your health

Now experience the body-based layer.

I guide you through an accessible introduction to somatic tools and Human Garage fascial manoeuvres, with a focus on the jaw, neck, and shoulders.

You will explore the places where you grip, brace, and hold on. You will slow down enough to notice your signals and practise meeting them through sensation, movement, attention, and choice. And you will shift some of the pressure from those areas in this first taster class.

You do not need to know anything about fascia.

You do not need to be flexible, fit, or experienced in somatic work.

You do not need to throw away the things you already know.

You only need 30 minutes and enough curiosity to find out what happens when you stop trying to think your way out of the brace and begin listening to your body directly.

What happens inside the class

This is a guided, practical experience. You will not spend 30 minutes collecting more notes about your body.

I will guide you through gentle fascial manoeuvres and somatic tools that help you bring your attention to the jaw, neck, shoulders, and the patterns of pressure you carry there.

You can pause, modify, or stop at any point. You are always in charge of your own participation.

You might finish by noticing more space in your jaw, neck, or shoulders. You might notice your breathing, posture, or internal signals more clearly. You might feel more grounded and in your body. You might simply realise how much effort your body has been using to stay ready.

The point is not to force a particular result.

The point is to give your body a different kind of conversation to participate in and give it real ways to Un-Brace.

This free class is for you if…

You are tired in the morning and wired at night, even though you know a great deal about health.

You notice your jaw clenching, your shoulders lifting, or your neck tightening before you have consciously registered that you are stressed.

You have tried nervous-system practices but want to experience the body-based work rather than learn another explanation.

You understand what you are “supposed” to do, but your body keeps returning to familiar patterns when life becomes demanding.

You want to feel more at home in your body without treating yourself as another problem to fix.

You are curious about fascia, somatic tools, and Human Garage fascial manoeuvres and want a gentle, supported first experience.

The missing step is not more information

You might already have a shelf of supplements, a folder of protocols, and more health information saved on your phone than you could use in a lifetime.

I am not asking you to discard any of it.

I am inviting you to include the body receiving all that support.

Fascia is the connective web of the body. In the Human Garage approach, I think of it as the internet of the body - a network through which pressure, sensation, and movement are experienced across the whole system.

Somatic tools and nervous-system practices help you notice the relationship between what you experience and how your body responds. This is where the years of automatic adaptive strategies live.

Un-Brace Yourself is your first opportunity to experience that relationship instead of reading about it.

I created this class for the person who is already trying

I’m Tracy Malone, a somatic therapist and Human Garage fascial manoeuvre practitioner.

I work with people who have changed their diet, taken supplements, followed protocols, learned about nervous-system regulation, and still find that familiar body patterns return.

You are not starting from zero. You are not uninformed. You are not lazy, undisciplined, or failing at your health.

You are someone who has been working hard - and who is ready to include a deeper body-based layer.

My approach brings together somatic tools, Polyvagal-informed nervous-system education, vagus-nerve tone practices, and fascial manoeuvres.

I believe your body is not a problem to solve. It is a relationship to build.

Un-Brace Yourself is where we begin.

What you need

You need a quiet place where you can give yourself 30 minutes, comfortable clothing, and enough room to move gently.

You do not need special equipment. You do not need to be flexible. You do not need previous experience with fascial manoeuvres or somatic work.

You can participate in a way that works for your body today.

A note about your experience

This class is educational and experiential.

It is not medical diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for personalised medical care. You remain in charge of your participation throughout the practice. If something does not feel right for your body, pause or stop and seek appropriate professional guidance.

You do not have to solve everything today

You do not have to find the next perfect protocol.

You do not have to understand every part of your body before you are allowed to listen to it.

Give yourself 30 minutes to stop searching, soften the brace, and experience a body-based way to begin.

I acknowledge the Gurumgul people, the First Nations custodians of the land on which I live and work. I honour their deep connection to this Country, which has held and sustained life for countless generations.

I recognise that the Gurumgul people never ceded their sovereignty, and that this land was taken from them. I acknowledge the truth of this history with respect, humility, and a commitment to remembrance.

Although the Gurumgul people, their language, stories, and traditions are no longer present in living memory, I recognise their enduring presence in the land itself. The rivers, soil, trees, and skies continue to carry the imprint of their care, wisdom, and belonging. I hear it in the birds and feel it in the earth beneath my feet and the wind as it blows.

I live on this land with respect and reverence. I honour its history, walk gently upon it, and remain committed to caring for Country in a spirit of gratitude, humility, and stewardship.
