In-Person Fascial Manoeuvre Classes in Brisbane

learn under the open sky with horses nearby

Limited-number classes at my private property in Wights Mountain, north-west of Brisbane

You arrive, step out of the car, and the pace begins to change.

There is grass beneath your feet. Trees around you. Birds moving through the property. My mares grazing nearby, free to come closer or keep their distance.

This is where I teach my in-person Human Garage fascial manoeuvre classes - not in a crowded studio, but outdoors in nature, with space to move, breathe, walk, and notice your body.

this is why i invite you to my home

You can learn fascial manoeuvres online. But there is something different about learning them in person, outside, with room around you.

You can see the positions clearly. Hear the cues as you move. Ask a question when something does not make sense. Feel the rhythm of practising with a small group rather than trying to work everything out alone.

And when each manoeuvre is complete, you have space to walk.

Not three steps beside your desk. Not a tight circle in your living room.

You can walk across the land, feel the ground beneath you, look into the distance, and give your body time to experience the new pattern before we continue.

What the class is like

I guide the whole group through a shared sequence of Human Garage fascial manoeuvres.

I have given these classes some space to first learn about fascia and you. I will help you understand why Human Garage Fascial Manoeuvres are so beneficial to your body.

I demonstrate each manoeuvre, explain the pinning and locking, counter-rotation, slow movement, and breath, and then guide you through the practice with the group.

Between each manoeuvre, we pause and walk. There is no rushing from one position to the next. You have time to notice what feels different, let your body integrate the movement, and settle before we begin again.

This is a group class rather than a personalised 1:1 session. Everyone follows the same sequence, while choosing a pace and range of movement that feel appropriate for their own body.

You are welcome to make a movement smaller, reduce the intensity, rest, or observe. You do not need to perform the manoeuvres perfectly. You are here to experience the practice.

Then we have space after the manoeuvres to ask more questions, build a plan for what is best for you to do at home in between classes so you can build your internal wisdom and consistency for these life changing manoeuvres.

The horses are part of the place

My horses are not brought into the class to perform, fix, diagnose, or create a particular experience.

They live here.

You may see them grazing nearby. You may hear them moving through the paddock or breathing as the group practises. They may come closer, or they may choose to stay at a distance.

Their freedom matters to me.

These classes are not Somatic Sessions with Horses. They are guided fascial manoeuvre classes held in the natural environment the horses call home.

There will be no patting or engaging with the horses at any time. They are able to work their magic at a distance.

Their presence is part of what makes this place feel different: sentient animals moving at their own pace, open land, changing light, and a reminder that not everything needs to be hurried or controlled.

come because you want to experience the work in person

These classes are for you if you are curious about fascia and want to learn the manoeuvres with real-time guidance and meet like-minded people.

You may already have tried practices online and want to understand the positions more clearly. A lot of people have been following Human Garage for years online and have seen so many manoeuvres that they simply do not know where to begin. You may prefer learning alongside other people. You may simply be longing to step away from screens and enclosed rooms and spend time moving outdoors.

You do not need previous experience.

Come in comfortable clothes. Bring water and a yoga mat. Arrive with curiosity.

I will guide you through the rest.

Medical Context Note

Fascial manoeuvres, Polyvagal-informed education, vagus-nerve practices, and somatic tools are educational and experiential and are designed to sit alongside appropriate medical care, not replace it. Please continue to work with qualified healthcare professionals for pain, injury, persistent symptoms, or other medical concerns, and ask them whether movement-based practices are appropriate for you.

I acknowledge the Gurumgul people, the First Nations custodians of the land on which I live and work. I honour their deep connection to this Country, which has held and sustained life for countless generations.

I recognise that the Gurumgul people never ceded their sovereignty, and that this land was taken from them. I acknowledge the truth of this history with respect, humility, and a commitment to remembrance.

Although the Gurumgul people, their language, stories, and traditions are no longer present in living memory, I recognise their enduring presence in the land itself. The rivers, soil, trees, and skies continue to carry the imprint of their care, wisdom, and belonging. I hear it in the birds and feel it in the earth beneath my feet and the wind as it blows.

I live on this land with respect and reverence. I honour its history, walk gently upon it, and remain committed to caring for Country in a spirit of gratitude, humility, and stewardship.
